This is also repeated upon the back cover, to a lesser degree. Covers are moderately thumbed and rubbed, with the occasional scuff mark on front, back and spine. Head and tail of spine bumped, head corners also bumped bear some light wear and tear. Binding is tidy, yet split at the half-title page. Free endpapers, pastedowns, title pages and most pages throughout bear light discolouration and moderate foxing. Previous owner's inscription upon front pastedown. Page edges are moderately discoloured, particularly at the head edge. Map tipped in at rear. Perforated page edges at the rear indicate some pages missing.
