From a single sci-fi collection, this is a FIRST EDITION, First Printing, from 1947 from Fantasy Press. Hardcover book has medium green cloth-covered boards, lettered & ruled in gilt to spine. Condition is VG: quite clean overall, with slight fading/spotting to exterior. Binding strong & straight, pages creamy white with scattered foxing & mild tanning but completely unmarked save for former owner's name/address stamp to verso of ffep. Very slight rubbing to extremities & mild corner Gilt on spine is rubbed & somewhat faded. The unclipped DJ (designed by A. J. Donnell) is Poor, but the important front cover image of the lady & the tiger is largely intact. Large chips & missing sections, soil, creasing, rubbing; held together nicely in new clear mylar cover.
