Add to basketPaperback. Condition: New. Print on Demand. This book offers a comparative guide to commercial law and its application to foreign trade, particularly for the export market. It places an emphasis on the foundational principles and variations of commercial codes, and the distinction between traders and non-traders in many legal systems. The author highlights key legal concepts such as jurisdiction, mercantile courts, and the treatment of partnerships and corporations in foreign law. By comparing code countries to common law countries, such as the United States and England, the book encourages prospective exporters to be aware of the differences in legal requirements and business practices. The author argues that developing an understanding of commercial law in various countries can help international traders develop business instincts and make well-informed decisions while adhering to legal guidelines. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item.
