Limited Edition. 20 pages with one having prices and a few details in pencil of those realised. the estate consisted of Freehold properties of 526 acres, 3 capital Farms with 4 smallholdings, cottages and acccomodation Land the "Superior" private Residence "The Woodhouse" with a renatal of £758/13/- annum. Sold in lots at the "Wheatsheaf Hotel", Cheadel Staffs, 29th September 1916. There are 2 copies one with the large lossely inserted coloured and engraved plan of the estate, with the plot numbers and positions and printed by the auctioneers Mabbett and Edge, 1916 (a unique example done for this sale only). The map is folding it is very heavily handled, creased and worn with old sellotape repairs to fold lines where once split and has split whilst trying to photograph it, small piece missing from middle area which was sellotaped over, not noticed upon first inspection. the covers on the catalogues are worn and handled as are some pages inside, there is a central vertical crease line down centre of the catalogues due to folding. Good to Good+, map fair. Quarto. 1916. *Were prices depressed due to war? Ivy Cottage sold for £77 and with a rent of £4 per anum.
