Warmly inscribed by Spring on FFE to the woman who suggested the title of the volume (presentation copy). Book has light wear to spine ends and area around middle of spine, else fine. Illustrated with 5 b & w photos and drawings. Includes footnotes and bibliography. Julia Archibald Holmes was the first known white woman to climb Pike's Peak. Very nice copy and quite rare. Inscribed by Author(s).
