Typeset in 'Monotype' Baskerville with Caslon Display on Zerkall mould-made paper. Turquoise endpapers. Top edge gilt. Bound-in blue ribbon bookmark. In the blue buckram-bound solander box with a leather label le…ttered in gilt to the spine. Recessed into the box is a companion volume of the Oxford University Press edition of 'Sonnets & Poems' bound in matching blue buckram lettered in gilt to the spine, with a white label lettered in blue to the front panel. An edition of 1980 hand-numbered copies for sale to members of The Folio Society (and 20 lettered copies not for sale). This copy is no. 658. The text used is the 2002 Clarendon/Oxford University Press edition (edited by Colin Burrow), the full edition of which is included (with introduction, notes and appendices) in the accompanying volume. Part of The Folio Society Letterpress Shakespeare edition, hand-bound by G. Lachenmaier, Reutlingen and printed by Hand and Eye Letterpress, London. The series is colour-coded according to genre: red for tragedies, blue for histories, green for comedies, and turquoise (really a different shade of blue) for sonnets and poems.
