Both inside covers have bookplates from Cornell University's Library of the Paleontological Research Institution; Vol. I has a library code as well, in ballpoint; neither volume has any further library markings. Vol. I's front endpaper bears the signature of Cornell professor Ruby Green Smith, a handful of pages in the middle are miscut along the leading edge (see photos), and a prior owner (Smith?) wrote penciled notes on the final two pages.
