The text includes Fables, Cresseid, Orpheus & Eurydice and numerous shorter poems, as well as a brief bio…graphy and notes. The hardback covers are bound in dark green cloth with the spines wrapped in burgundy leather with gilt lettering. There is some creasing to the cover corners and some rubbing and creasing to the tops and bottoms of the spines, particularly to Vol 1. The text block edges are gilted on the top edges. The text includes a number of fold out plates showing original printed pages fr.
