A very small name to Half-Title page top, otherwise no markings or inscriptions and minimal evidence of use. In unclipped dustwrapper (21s net), which is predominantly clean, bright and complete, but with numerous small nicks and creases which have been repaired/supported with white adhesive labels verso (no selotape!). Now protected with clear, removable sleeve, and making this a very presentable used copy. To quote Sir Harold Spencer Jones, The Astronomer Royal, from his Foreword : " To conquer space would be an achievement surpassing anything that man has yet accomplished : the greater therefore is the challenge. There are those who are prepared to accept the challenge, and who can say that they will not succeed? This book shows that their faith is not mere idle fancy but that there are solid grounds for believing that sooner or later success will be theirs." FREE P&P IN UK.
