The Book of the Labour Party: Its History, Growth, Policy, and Leaders, Edited by Herbert Tracey Hardback, undated and no edition remarks but preface dates from 1925 and believed to be a first edition set, illustrated, published by Caxton Publishing Company, Limited, London. Volume I - History, Economic Policy - xiii + 305 pages;Volume II - Economic Policy (continued), General Social Policy, Financial Policy - vii + 344 pages;Volume III - Financial Policy (continued), Biographies - vii + 354 pages; Octavo/8vo, measures around 9 1/2" by 6 1/2" by around 2". No dust jackets. Red cloth binding, embossed/blind-blocked, with gilt lettering to front board and a little faded on spines. Minor marking and scuffing to binding but overall very clean and colouring vivid. Small signs of wear, corners a little bumped. Bindings quite firm. Page edges a bit browned and scuffed, with a little foxing and marking. Light foxing to endpapers and the odd mark to page surfaces throughout but otherwise clean, no inscriptions, underlining, marginalia, etc. See pictures for further information. Presumed 1925.
