Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Reprint. 479; 491pp. 1/4 purple cloth with tan cloth over boards. Spines negligibly faded. Spine of volume 2 is slightly rolled back. In a slipcase, with light rubbing to the extremities, general mild soiling and a short split to the top edge. The price on the slipcase has been blacked out with marker. A core Confucian text, a compilation of diverse texts of uncertain origin and date, describing the social forms, administrative structures, and ceremonial rites of the Zhou dynasty, as interpreted during the Warring States period and the early Han dynasty.
