These hardcover books have over 1600 pages total including many illustrations. The bindings are strong with all pages firmly attached. Volumes One and Two have a faint name written on the top of the title page. The pages are otherwise clean with no soiling or tears. These old books are undated but appear to be circa 1900. The blue cloth covers with bright gold embossed designs on the cover and spine show light soiling and a few light scuff marks. We always ship in a sturdy cardboard box!
