The 21 numbe…rs of Merz was published between 1923 and 1932. The present 4th number, with the subtitle "Banalitäten", appeared in July 1923. This issue contains nine illustrations, among them by Picasso (Sacipos), Hans Arp, László Moholy-Nagy, Kurt Schwitters, Arthur Segall, Theo van Doesburg, and texts by Schwitters, Tzara, Bonset (d. i. Theo van Doesburg), Arp and others. . Lower corner bumped. Trace of folding. Scratches on the front panel around letter "E" from the title. Stain to upper left corner of front cover and at the center of the rear panel. Light stain to lower edge of two leaves (pp. 3536 and 4546). Otherwise clean. Overall in very good condition.
