Early settler to the Massachusetts Bay Colony, Tristam Coffin came to America in 1642 from Devonshire England and became one of the wealthiest settlers in the colony. Some of his descendants were Tories during the Revolutionary War and moved to Canada while others remained in America and became Quakers and Abolitionists. This book has a hardcover with gray book cloth cover, with a title and graphics blue with gold highlights. Copyrighted and printed by the Nantucket Historical Association, the size is 7x10 inch printed on white stock, with approximately 575 pages, including maps, photographs and illustrations within the text block and an index of names.
