Hayao Nogami - Frontispiece Painting (illustrator). A 160-page volume, profusely illustrated in black-and-white, with printed cover letter by then-president, Shingo Inui. This book of company history is divided into eight (8) chapters: 1) Foundation of the Company and Shinbei Inui; 2) Establishment of Inui Unlimited Partnership and the Era; 3) Establishment of Inui Steamship Company, Limited; 4) World War II and Consolidation of the Shipping Industry; 5) Consolidation in the Shipping Industry to the First Oil Crisis; 6) Dividend Resumption through the Second Oil Crisis; 7) Bold Initiatives in the Fleet Development; 8) Making a New Leap Forward. Condition is nearly flawless, except for a roughly two-inch band of sunning across the base of the front cover. No marks or highlighting were found in scanning through the text block.
