Hardcover. Condition: Very Good+. Christmas 1922. Volume itself has dark green covers with sharp gilt lettering on the spine. The Lakeside Press emblem on the front cover and the gilt border on the front cover is very bright. The book itself has been protected in a clear archival quality for the more than two decades it has been… in my possession. Opposite the half title page the beginning of some separation at the spine is apparent. The head and tail of the spine have only a slight touch of wear at the back cover of the book and only one corner of the work shows any wear. The top edge is gilded and is still rather bright. No bookplates or owners names or stamps. The folded map does not appear to have any toning but there is an very small extra fold at the end. A quite nice copy, that in my opinion, is in collectible condition, for one attempting to acquire a complete set of Lakeside Classics or for one who has a particular interest in this volume. Available for immediate shipment, carefully packed in a sturdy box.
