A chapter at the end describes Tricks that Boys Can Do. Includes seven of eight original tipped on… full page color plates (by artists Cyrus Cuneo, Stanley L. Wood, and other noteables), with numerous additional detailed black and white illustrations. Scarlet red cloth with mounted color cover illustration of a sailboat at sea, overlapped by larger color cover illustration of a gentleman sailor dressed in his blues and whites, black tinted edges, 208 pages.The book is in fair condition with front joint cracked about an inch near bottom and another inch atop spine, lightly rubbed and frayed spine ends and corners, sound text block, hinges internally cracked, rear free endpaper removed, and gift inscription atop left corner of front pastedown, otherwise clean pages with no other markings. .
