Sheet Music First Edition
Soft cover. Condition: Near Fine. 1st Edition. New York: Miller Music Corporation by arrangement with Vincent Youmans, Inc., 1929. "Without A Song" vintage sheet music, words by William Rose and Edward Eliscu, music by Vincent Youmans. Large Quarto, illustrated folded wraps, 6 pp. plus covers, as numbered. A rather striking and scarce Near Fine grade piece, by book grading standards ("Excellent" by some sheet music guidelines). A tiny spot of apparent price sticker residue (top right, scan), probably removable, a very faint cover crease, and.that's about it. Very handsomely preserved example. One of the most popular pieces ever produced by any of this notable trio, "Without A Song" was in the musical "Great Day" and was thereafter often covered by Perry Como, Frank Sinatra, Nelson Eddy, and many others. Vintage music ephemera and collectible. Certainly one of the best surviving specimens. See scan. L-eph1.
