Pilcher has faithfully noted his accounts for purchasing and selling corn, sheep, wood, hay, cows, and other agricultural commodities, alongside pages dedicated to Pilcher's servants and their payroll.Pilcher has written a brief note on his own farming history to the rear: "Took Court Farm + Scotts Hall . 1879, Left Court Farm 1891 For Horton Priory Hythe, Left Horton Priory 1903 for West Hougham ., Edward W.
