Contents include short stories, historical essays, nature stories, amusements, illustrations, poetry, songs, etc. for juvemile readers. Each issue ends with a wondeful full page picture puzzle (rebus puzzles). Filled with wonderful Victorian illustrations after engravings (full page and in text). There are separate illustrated essays on the production of coffee and the production of tea. Contributing authors include: Edith M.
