The text comprises various emigrant stories, featuring tales such as "The Freaks of Fortune," "The Man Who Was Frightened," "Three Men from 'The Black Farm,'" "The Mystery of the Old House," "The Marvelous Metal," "Beyond the Puddle," "Jonatan Hew's Ruse," and "The Deathful Shirt." A very good copy, only showing light wear and minor creasing to the wrappers. The rear wrapper bears a stamp. In the wake of WWII, Russian DPs in European camps produced a wide array of printed works, despite the constraints of military censorship and scarce resources.
