No inscriptions except an old penciled price in top corner of ffep. Frontis slightly loose.

Foxing to extremities, prize bookplate from Airdrie Academy 1924-25 pasted in, otherwise unmarked. Brown cloth binding with blind decoration, gilt decoration and beveled edges, a little disoloured. Hinges sound. A very good, solid copy.
