Heavy cracking at the hinges with exposed binding material. Binding remains firm. binding remains reasonably firm. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Mild crushing to spine ends.
First edition hardback no dustjacket. Illustrated, 234 + [2] pages. The binding has some light wear and has faded a little, it is sound. Internally it is clean.

The aquthor Electra Dory was a british nurse that during 1930's ran the Missionary Hospital to Central Africa in particular the leper colony in Likwena, Nyasaland (from 1964 Malawi). Different black and white plates. In very good conditions. Cloth editorial cover with dustjacket in good general conditions lightly worn in the extremities. Binding in good conditions.
