Boards are in good condition considering the fragility and age of this book. The paper spine is open and missing for the bottom 4 inches and is beginning to separate for the rest of the spine. The staples are present and the pages are all still secure. Pages are clean and colors are bright and intense. 14 chromolithograph illustrations. 32 pages.

A Good copy. This is a charming collection of nursery rhymes. An index in front lists the rhymes alphabetically by the first word of the first line of each rhyme. A brief introduction (about one and a half pages) in front and the Notes in back give information about the historical provenance of some of the rhymes. Classics such as "Old King Cole," "Little Miss Muffett," "Little Boy Blue," "London Bridge," "Mary, Mary, Quite Contrary," "Jack and Jill," "and "Little Bo Peep" are included as well as numerous lesser-known nursery rhymes.
