Superb drawings throughout of nostalgic scenes from the old days. Some seam rips at edge of spine, with bumped spine corners; embossed illustrated cover, extremely attractive. Minor smudging on front free endpaper. Interior is in fine condition: clean & crisp; no marks, tears, or folded corners; tight binding. In exceptionally good condition.

P. Dutton in London and New York, no date, late 1800's, the number 4318 is printed small at bottom of front cover, generally a half-way decent clean semi-tight copy of this late 19th Century children's book. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
