Includes separate volume, Translator's Note and Finding Lists in gray boards, paper label on front, 7" record in pocket at rear. Housed together in a cloth folding case, paper label, blac ribbon ties. Fine volumes in Fine slipcase, record NM. One of China's greatest poets, Li Po, who lived from 701-762AD, translated into English and printed in a fine press edition by Anvil Press, an association of printers inspired by Victor Hammer and his second wife Carolyn Reading Hammer. The included record, while a 7", is to be played at 33 RPM and features music from the T'Ang Dynasty played on Western instruments.

Quarto; in black cloth binding with an additional volume by Elling Eide of Translator's Notes and Finding Lists; vii, 69 pages; ix, 18 pages, [19], followed by a phonograph record in a sleeve attached to the rear of the Translator's Notes volumes; the Poems by Li Po volume is printed in black and burgundy; the two volumes together are housed in a black portfolio, with a silk tie and a printed paper label to the spine; the spine and edges of portfolio are lightly sunned.~~We find no copies in commerce (as of March 20, 2024) and only a scant handful of institutional holdings. Very Good binding.
