The author describes his early years surviving the air raids which destroyed both his school and home in Frankfort, Germany during World War II, before immigrating to the United States. In 1960 he joined the Department of Defense Overseas Schools and his exciting career of 45 years is portrayed. At the lower outer edge of the front cover there is a small beginning separation (less than 1/8th of an inch.) A quite nice copy; available for immediate shipment, carefully packed in a sturdy box.
