INSCRIBED ("For Betty [Garrett] & Larry [Parks] / with love") and SIGNED by the author on the ffep. The professional association between Engel and Betty Garrett dates from at least 1946, when he was musical director for the Broadway show "Call Me Mister," in which she was the headliner.
