Postcard is clean and intact overall but has slight corner and edge wear, slight aging to the image, and some staining (perhaps foxing) on the back. A Very Good copy. This postcard shows a view of Isenburg, which is categorized as a "luftkurort" ("air spa"). Luftkurort is a title is given to German cities or towns that are health resorts, meaning they meet certain guidelines deemed beneficial to the health, such as having clean air and a healthy climate. Purple stamp that reads, "Gasthof zum Tiefental; Bes. Joh. Backer; Sommerfrische Isenburg, Sayntal." is on the back. Brief correspondence written in pencil on back. A green Paul von Hindenburg stamp with the number "6" is tipped in on the back. The stamp reads, "Deutches Reich." This particular stamp was first issued in 1933.
