An antique print, guaranteed to be over 200 years old.This plate was taken from the book Historical Descriptions of New and Elegant Picturesque Views of the Antiquities of England and Wales by Henry Boswell, printed for Alex Hogg, No. 16 Paternoster Row, London, and published in 1786. A little marking and some scuffing, a little browning to right-hand edge but otherwise clean for age. Mounted and matted with white and antique-white acid-free card, measuring 12" x 10" (30.5cm x 25.4cm) with a window size of a little under 9" x 7" and comes in a cellophane bag. This would make for a lovely gift and may appeal to those interested in Britain, architecture, antique prints and the work of Lowry. n.
