Softcover. Condition: Very Good. First Edition. A clean, pristine copy of this songbook (Volume II only), with some light wear to the covers, but no signs of prior use on the interior. An author's preface dated 1977 explains that he had written a two volume cycle of children's songs entitled Shiron Chadash, or the Jewish Songster, although his primary life's work had been the six volume Cantorial Anthology. A note added by two of his children makes it clear that the Shiron Chadash was never published in his lifetime.
