Rebacked at some time, ( not recently ), retaining original boards, raised bands, elaborate gilt tooling within compartments, leather title labels. Calf lightly rubbed and scuffed. Binding in very good clean firm condition. Internally, first title dust or dirt marked, some light staining to first 25 pages, early neat previous owners name inscription on bottom section of title. Pages in very good clean condition throughout. A very nice clean copy, in a very attractive early binding. A6 Size: Folio - over 12" - 15" tall.
