Signed by Aloni on the title page, in Hebrew: "To M'eira, With friendship (or "yours affectionately"). December 1988, Nathan." Erdesz was one of Hungary's leading graphic artists. He immigrated to the United States in 1956 where he began a career in violin making. Over the years he continued to sketch cartoons, drawing inspiration from the world of the violin. This book was originally issued in a limited edition of 300 copies, signed by Erdesz. The limitation notice on the title page was neatly blacked-out (as in this copy) and the rest released unsigned.
