Es geht zurück auf das Konzept von zwei Ausstellungen Carsten Hällers im Muse d'art Contemporain, Marseille, und Färgfabriken, Stockholm: Zwei großformatige Installationen - Phi Wall und Light Wall - wurden in täglichem Wechsel gezeigt. Es wurden zwei Einladungskarten verschickt, zwei Eröffnungen veranstaltet, zwei Pressetexte veröffentlicht und zwei Websites (zu je einer Arbeit) eingerichtet. Beide Installationen basieren trotz des unterschiedlichen Aussehens auf denselben Phänomenen, die bestimmte Frequenzen von Blinklichtern hervorrufen. Die Diskussionen um die Ausstellung könnten stattfinden in einem Zustand des Bewußten, des Unbewußten oder der Ungewissheit über die doppelte Natur von "One Day One Day.".

Bei Bojan sarcevic wissen die Betrachter nie, was als nächstes kommen wird. Gewiss ist nur, dass es sich um ästhetische Fragestellungen handelt, die uns in einer fast schon einfachen Brecht'schen Manier darauf stoßen, wie die Grenze von der Kunst zum Leben zu überschreiten ist. Im Gegensatz dazu gibt es allerdings auch eine modernistische Ader im Werk von Bojan sarcevic, wenn er eine widerständige Form entwickelt, die zugleich auch als Skulptur und deshalb im Grunde als krasses Gegenteil einer zwischen Leben und Kunst überschrittenen Grenze auftritt. Diese Praxis speist sich aus vielen historischen Vorbildern, seien es die Moskauer Konstruktivisten oder die Architekten Hans Poelzig, Erich Mendelsohn und Hans Scharoun. Sie lässt allerdings jeden Formalismus hinter sich.
