First Edition
Hardcover. Condition: Fair. Dust Jacket Condition: Poor. First printing. An interesting introduction to the state-of-the-art (as of 1957) of guided weapons, i.e. guided missiles in their early days. Fair only in black cloth, with silver titles on the spine and front cover. Exposure to damp has caused the cloth on the covers to wrinkle, and there are signs of past mildew on the endpapers, but the text is not really affected. No other marks or damage. The color illustrated DJ is clipped and has significant signs of water staining and past mildew. Also some small chips and tears along the jacket edges. CH.
