Till Eulenspiegel (which translates as 'Till Owl-Mirror') is the name of a famous medieval clown. There is no exact British corresponding figure, though Puck, otherwise known as Robin Goodfellow, is similarly something of a prankster and trickster. This well translated version of Erich Kästner's clearly narrated vers.
