L.J. Bridgman (illustrator). "Anita" by Bertha B. and Ernest Cobb is a story about the struggles in the girl Anita's life. She eventually finds success, and the story dives into details about her challenges with family life and survival set to the backdrop of the Rocky Mountains. The book has plates by L.J. Bridgman, Photographs by L.C. McClure, and line drawings by Anita Pettibone. It was published in 1920 by Arlo Publishing Co. in Boston, specifically Newton Upper Falls, Massachusetts. The book also contains a frontispiece of Boulder, Co, and the boards and endpapers are decorative. Please check the photos and ask questions. Condition: "FR/GD(Fair/Good)-The covers and binding have heavy amounts of markings, staining and/or soiling. The spine is split up and down between the frontispiece and title page with some of the webbing showing. The front cover is slightly loose but fully intact. The binding has some frays and abrasions. The corners are bumped with rubbing to the edges. The corners also have frays and abrasions. There is a pen signature from a previous owner on the second endpaper. The boards and endpapers have some soiling and/or staining. The interior pages are mostly off-white with some light to moderate amounts of staining, yellowing, and foxing. There are no loose or missing pages.".
