There are b/w illustrations on nearly every page and 10 full page color illustrations by Ethel Everett. The condition is good. The pages are clean and free of marks, tears and folds. There are no signatures. The binding is tight. The orange cloth cover has the title and author stamped in black on front and spine. There is also an illustration by Everett inset on front.The cover shows wear; the corners are rubbed and there is light soiling all over.

Text block and plates in fine condition without marks and tears except for front free endpaper which has a Christmas postage stamp dated 1961 with a previous owners name and address in juvenile script. Aunt Judy's Magazine was a British magazine for young people founded in 1866 by Margaret Gatty. After her death in 1873, publishing was continued by her daughter Julian Horatia Eden until 1885. The magazine is named after Gatty¿s daughter's childhood nickname, ¿Judy". The selection in this volume was reprinted in the chronological order in which they were first appeared in the magazine.
