Presumed first ed., first printing according to printer's key; 327 p., clean and unmarked within on strong paper only faintly age-toned; former owner's name with date is on upper corner of front end page; binding firm; deep crimson boards with still bright gilt lettering have light bumping of corners and small ding on front panel; d.j. has small closed tear near upper corner of front panel and light rubbing at corners, crown of spine and lower edge of front panel. Rear panel without discernible wear but slightly sunned.
