    Condition: Good. Prospectus for facsimile edition of Pierre Simon Fournier's Modéles des Caracteres de l'Imprimerie (1742). 4to. One 22 x 9 inch sheet of heavy paper folded once to make a 4-pp. booklet. Pages 2 through 4 reproduce type samples, with one page folding out to an 11 x 17 inch sheet. Illustrated. Slightly creased around lower edge, with one bumped corner, but Very Good Plus. From the collection of Frederick Gale Ruffner, Jr. (1926-2014) the founder of the Detroit based reference book publisher, Gale Research.

Quarter red morocco git with printed cloth-covered boards, folio, unpaginated, illustrated with 23 colotypes of engravings by Jean Duvet from the 1561de Tournes Book of Revelation. One of 735 numbered copies (this copy out of series) printed by L. van Leer & Co. Ltd in Amsterdam on specially made Balston paper and bound by Zaehnsdorf. The 30 page paperbound translation into French by Louis Segond is loosely inserted. Minor extremity wear and faded spine, else a clean, very good copy.
