Edition princeps en grec des Vies des Philosophes et Sophistes du rhéteur et médecin Eunapios (IVe s.). On y trouve les biographies de vingt-trois philosophes néo-platoniciens anatoliens de son temps, écrites sur le modèle des vies de Philostrate d'Athènes et de Diogène Laerce. Le texte grec a été établi par Hadrien junius d'après un manuscrit très altéré transmis à Plantin par le philosophe hongrois Sambuc. Première édition de la traduction latine, établie également par Junius à la demande de Christophe Plantin. Ces deux éditions, bien que portant chacune un titre propre, étaient destinées à être réunies dans un seul volume. Rare.
