Pronto se da cuenta de que la realidad no es un marco inamovible que pueda controlar únicamente con sus oraciones. ¿Será su fe más fuerte que su herencia y sus anhelos ¿Podrá manejar las llamas de las pasiones que la abrasan Cuestiones filosóficas como esta serán las que pongan a la protagonista en serios apuros y la colocarán en una posición delicada e inasumible para su beata educación. Con audacia y un lenguaje satírico, la escritora irá tejiendo un cuadro vivo de relaciones humanas y conflictos éticos que irán perfilando el desenlace.
