Two corners on each volume are bumped. There is edge wear and beginning chipping at the very top of the spine on Volume 1 (see image) and edge wear only in the same place on Volume 2. There is a 1/2 inch white mark near the top of the spine on Volume 2, also visible in image. Pages and text block edges are age tanned. Binding is sturdy.
