"This is a documented story of the people who were involved in the layout and building of Red Wing Stadium in 1928 and many others who made it such an enjoyable place to go. The deed was signed, and with co-operative efforts of City Officials and management of the St. Louis Cardinal Baseball Organization, construction was started for a new stadium and field to house the Rochester Red Wings.
