196 pp. w/ frontis. Softcover in original string-tied binding. Some minor chipping to the front cover. No rear cover. Text is complete. Some staining to the cover page (see pics) and some foxing throughout. A remarkable find of an important Confederate imprint! Second Edition (first was in 1863), revised and enlarged by the author. Parish & Willingham 4938. A really nice copy of this major Civil War biography. Not Ex-Lib.
