Internally very good and free of inscriptions; illustrated with over twenty full page plates with pasted-on engravings ; title page in red and black; plates and text pages all have a double red border line; binding sound; scattered variable foxing; end papers have a lovely foliar pattern on a muted gold background; all edges gilt; 88pp + plates; except for the last page all text pages and plates are on the rectos only. No date c. 1880. On the covers 'Gallerie' is spelt with two 'l's but on the title page it is spelt with one.
