This is not only a distortion: it is, in the proper sense of the words, both a tragedy and a scandal. Christian morality, the law of Christ, finds its meaning in the kerygma, the good and joyful tidings of the Gospel. It is man's loving response through grace to the loving call of the Savior "Come, follow me . " Thus it must be viewed, thus it must be presented by parents, catechists and priests.
