Condition: Good. 1943. 214 pages. Yellow pictorial dust jacket over red cloth. Pages are lightly tanned and thumbed at the edges, with light foxing. Binding has remained firm. Boards are a little rub worn, slight shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are a little bumped. Spine ends are mildly crushed. Light tanning to spine and edges. Boards are bowed. Book has a forward lean. The clipped dust jacket has moderate edge wear, tears and chips to edges and spine ends. Moderate sunning to jacket edges and spine.

Hardcover. Condition: Good. No date. Circa 1950's. " Nelson's Bumper Books " series. Vintage Children's Story Book. Boards are a bit grubby and some wear to corners but nothing really major. Neat previous owner's name inside and one neatly rubbed out. Fantastic colour frontis plus many black and white illustrations to the stories. 10 stories by various authors (see above). Undated but 1943 1st edition with B&W illustrations; part of 'Thrilling Tales' series; tightly bound in red cloth with white lettering to front and spine. Dust jacket not price-clipped; spine faded; small tears and losses to edges and corners; larger losses to front top extending to spine and back top close to fore-edge. Scattered, pale foxing to page edges; gift inscription on front paste-down; otherwise, a clean, tidy copy. Used - Good. VG hardback in Fair dust jacket.
