Estudió en México; tiene el Master en Ciencias Políticas por la Universidad de Pennsylvania y la Maestría en Derecho Comparado por la Universidad de Estrasburgo. El jurista más importante de Panamá, el catedrático y el abogado que ha dominado la cátedra y el foro panameño durante décadas, un buen día de modo natural, como es él, se le ocurrió escribir un libro diferente. Un libro sobre cómo ha visto la literatura, y durante siglos, a los abogados y a los jueces.
