Classic hand-colour architectural plate depicting the pavillon de reunion par M Faccard 1837 in a gilt frame Print Sz: 19"H x 11 1/2"W Frame Sz: 22 1/4"H x 15"W The Pavillon de La Réunion was a pavilion of the Jardin tropical de Paris, in the Bois de Vincennes. It was built for the International Colonial Exhibition by the colony of Reunion, a French island in the southwestern Indian Ocean. His plan was inspired by the villa of the Domaine du Chaudron, in Saint-Denis de La Réunion.
